About all the Companies which have the Authority to Export Pharmaceuticals and/or Companies which make Distributions for Pharmaceutical Exportation Purposes As of 01.01.2012 on which the Pharmaceutical Track and Trace System has passed on to Phase 2, all the companies which have the authority to export pharmaceuticals and/or companies which make distributions for pharmaceutical exportation purposes will use PTS actively and generate SSCC barcodes for all kinds of transportation units using its own GLN. Therefore they need to obtain a GLN (Global Location Number) number of their own by contacting GS1 Turkey (TOBB), and register to the Local Health Authorities with this GLN number. As of 01.01.2012 it will be possible to obtain pharmaceuticals from wholesalers with a GLN number and make exportation and/or distribution operations on the Pharmaceutical Track and Trace System. |
