The Turkey Visit of the Brazilian Delegation for ITS
April 10-11, 2012 / İstanbul / TURKEY

An 11 person delegation from Brazil came to İstanbul on April 9, 2012 to view and familiarize with the Turkish Pharmaceutical Track and Trace System on-site.

 This delegation was comprised of;

• ABAFARMA - Brazilian Pharmaceutical Wholesalers Association,
• ABRAFARMA -  Brazilian Drugstore & Pharmacy Retail Chain Association, INTERFARMA - Association of Research Drug Manufacturer,
• ABRADILAN - Brazilian National Drug Wholesalers Association,
• SINDUSFARMA - Pharmaceutical Drug Manufacturer Union,
• GS1 Brazil and Embassy Competent.

The Agency Director Dr. Saim KERMAN, Pharm. Ms. Sc. Serap Malçok ALTUNKAN, TechN'arts CEO Taha YAYCI, and Cem BAYAZIT on behalf of the TechN’arts Company attended the meeting which was held in the Istanbul Pendik production plant of the Novartis Health Food and Agricultural Products Industry and Commerce Inc..

The opening speech was made by Dr. Necdet KURUOĞLU the Turkey Director of Novartis Pharmaceutical Operations. After the ITS presentation by TechN'arts CEO Taha YAYCI, the ITS sector applications have been presented by Hüseyin SAVAŞ and the Novartis production plant has been examined.

In the second half of the program, the ITS pharmacy applications have been examined in the İstanbul Kırmızı Pharmacy and the ITS wholesaler applications have been examined in the İstanbul Pharmacists Manufacturing Procurement Distribution Cooperative facilities which is situated in Yenibosna.
