TechN'arts Presented ITS at the International GS1 Meeting
12 - 13 June 2012 / Istanbul / TURKEY

On 12 - 13 June 2012 the International GS1 Meeting has been held in the Istanbul TOBB (The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey) building. Representatives from different countries have attended the meeting in which the “PTS XML standardization of the Pharmaceutical Track and Trace System” was the main agenda topic. The head of the ITS department Pharm. Ms. Sc. Serap Malçok ALTUNKAN and TechN'arts CEO Taha YAYCI were also present at the meeting on behalf of ITS.

RESULT

As a result of the meeting, the need for an international standardization of the PTS and SSCC applications have been indicated for Turkey’s existing and affirmed leadership in this area. The importance of the sustainable cooperation between ITS and GS1 and its critical role that it will play on studies to be made and decisions to be taken until the next meeting has been emphasized.
