The Product Verification Web Service has been published for the product verification operations. The Product Verification Service is a web service which can be used by all stakeholders for the purpose product control. Controls like whether the product is registered into the system, whether the DataMatrix information is consistent or not, or whether the product has expired or not can be made using the product verification web service.

Dispatch, dispatch cancellation, product purchase, product return, product turnover and product turnover cancellation services make a verification in itself and return an error or warning message in case the product is not appropriate to the operation. Making a verification before every service in the requester software, does not provide sufficient information related to the suitability of the product to the operation in addition it will decrease tge performance of the requester software. Therefore verifications before the transfer operations in requester softwares should not be made.

Detailed information like last owner of the product, its status, and its manufacturer cannot be accessed using the product verification service. Our stakeholders can query such information from the “Online Services” in the ITS Portal.

The Manufacturer Verification Web Service, Pharmaceutical Wholesaler Verification Web Service, Pharmacy Verification Web Service and Hospital Verification Web Service will be removed on 15.01.2012. Our stakeholders should use the Product Verification Web Service instead of these web services.
