Hospitals can make product purchase and consumption notifications for products whose production notification* date is before 01.01.2012 even if manufacturer companies and pharmaceutical wholesalers have not made dispatch notifications. The obligation for a manufacturer dispatch notification for hospitals to be able to make product purchase notifications is only applied on products whose production notification is after 01.01.2012.

Since the aggregation of products produced before 01.01.2012 were not able to be done by the manufacturers and pharmaceutical wholesalers, problems are being encountered when these products are sent in packages with PTS. Due to this problem some of our hospitals are not able to make product purchase notifications. Our hospitals are able to make consumption notifications for products whose production notification has been made before 01.01.2012 without making a product purchase notification. Nevertheless it is strongly recommended that all hospitals make product purchase notifications although the production notification date of the products is before 01.01.2012.

Some of our hospitals refuse the products whose dispatch notification has not been made to them by not accepting the tender. Such constraints should not be made to our manufacturers and pharmaceutical wholesalers for products whose production notification has been made before 01.01.2012.

(*) The production notification date is the date in which the products are notified to ITS. It may be different than the production date itself and they should not be confused.
