TO the ATTENTION of PHARMACISTS and PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANIES It is obligatory to print DataMatrix on all products produced after 01.01.2010. According to this, products whih have been produced within this year will be released to the market only with DataMatrix. The information of the products produced with DataMatrix or a DataMatrix is applied will absolutely be notified to the Turkish Pharmaceutical Track and Trace System and then released to the market. Products will not be released to the market without them being notified to the system. As legal actions will be taken for products produced without DataMatrix in the year 2010, companies should recall such products from the market. All services of the Turkish Pharmaceutical Track and Trace System still operate. It is possible for pharmacists to verify products with DataMatrix from the system and to make product purchase and dispatch notifications. It is recommended that pharmacists make their product purchase and dispatch operations as of today. It is vitally announced that companies shuld release all products with DataMatrix since all products will be sold with DataMatrix as of 01.06.2010, and that pharmacists should not purchase any product which does not have a DataMatrix. |
