26.09.2012 | Changes have been Made in the PTS Web Services

Package Transfer Service (PTS) has been commonly used with the start of Phase 2 and the workload on PTS is increasing accordingly. To relief this workload and not to face with problems, PTS Web Services have been revised.  In this context, PTS version 2.0 has been developed and implemented. Currently used PTS Web Services will be removed on April 1, 2013. Until this date, packages sent from newly implemented web services can be get via old web services and also packages sent from old web services can be get via newly implemented web services.

With the new version, fields have been revised and endpoint addresses have been changed. With these new implementations, there isn’t any process changes on the currently used web services.

Moreover, PTS XML Standard was revised and documented as PTS XML Standard version 2.0. The support for PTS XML Standard 2.0 by our stakeholders' systems should be started on April 1, 2013 and at package transmission this standard should be adopted. PTS XML Standard 1.4 will be removed on May 1, 2013. In this one month period both standards should be supported by our stakeholders. Also in the context of Reference Services, Package Detail Service is developed and implemented instead of PTSHelper service on which package details could be received. PTSHelper Service will be removed on April 1, 2013 like currently used PTS Web Services.
